I need info on an old boat motor model #20R73A serial#E3773186 any help?

It is a johnson 20hp,seahorse model#20r73a. The 20r73 relates to the yr and hp of the motor (ie - 20 HP 1973 model).

Is there something special you need to know other than this?

Without going to the books on the motor it looks like a 1973 20 hp. rope start evinrude. Hope this helps you out.
