Neighbors pine trees are growing into my fence. The trees are not more than saplings less than 2 years old ,the fence has been here for over 20 years. Can I get rid of these trees since they are growing under and thru my fence? They also are directly under power and phone lines.

  1. Have you tried talking to your neighbours?

Anything that grows onto your side of the fence can be chopped off by you.

If the trees are damaging your fence - which will result in causing you undue expense, you can contact your council for advice on how to manage the situation.

  2. Hochie is right, If it grows across your fence you can cut it off
