I need to know if I need a blood test. How much does it cost for license, what's the waiting period? And any other info you can give.

  1. No blood test needed

    Drivers license, SS card,

If you're under 18, there's a fee and your parents must consent. I think they have to go up there too.

Both parties must be present at the time the application is made.

There is a three-day waiting period before the license can be issued. This is a minimum waiting period.

I had no wait when I went to get mine in April. I paid and got it the same day but usually if you get married in the court house, there's a wait. Call the recorder and court house to see. I'm pretty positive it varies from county to county.

The license is valid for 30 days from the issue date in the State of Missouri.

A $46.00 cash payment is payable at the time of the application. A certified copy of the marriage license is $9.00. A certified statement of the marriage is $2.00.

  2. I got married at a courthouse in Missouri. No tests are needed, just go to the courthouse with money, birth certificates, SS cards (just in case) and driver's licenses. I know think we had to wait, but I know we had to use the license w/in 30 days.

    Congratulations!

  3. Try calling the court house, they might know the answers.
