I need instructions on how to build a cat pen and house...

Question

My cat loves to be outside... We were keeping her in the garage because she was so sick when we found her. I live in the US and I am having trouble finding instructions on how to build her a pen and a house for outside. We cannot keep her inside and she has never been outside. Where we are going to be living is near a major highway and I don't want her to get hit or eaten by dogs. I would appreciate any instructions and links. Thanks so much!

i am currently trying to build a pen for my kitty as well. here is my plans

Chicken wire or chain link fence

four posts, metal or wood should do

chicken wire for the top so kitty can't climb up and out

the door i am still working on as to how i want that to work.

nail or staple the chicken wire to the posts and maybe add a few in on each side for extra support!

for the house for shade i was just going to build or buy her a big dog house.



i am also getting  her micro chiped
