  1. Where do you live and how old are you?  You just need to buy your own coverage assuming you can't stay on your parents plan.

  2. You will not be able to be added to your boyfriend's insurance unless they allow coverage for domestic partners and you meet the eligibility requirements (can prove you have lived together for a specified period of time). Once you move in with your boyfriend, chances are your parents insurance will no longer cover you since you are no longer a dependant of theirs (I'm assuming that you meet the age and full-time school requirement)-but they will have to check with their carrier.

If you can't be added to your boyfriend's or stay on your parent's, you might be able to get COBRA-but your best bet is to talk to a local independant agent for coverage since you are probably young and it would be much cheaper than going with COBRA.

  3. House insurance?  Car insurance?  Health insurance?

  4. Some insurance companys will not allow you to be added unless you are married however, if it is allowed, you would need to be added through his employer or if it is an individual policy you would more then likely just fill out an application.
