I need itunes for limewire but in order to run itunes in need windows XP or Windows vista how to download ?

Windows XP is a widely used operating system developed by Microsoft.  You cannot download it for free as it is proprietary.

I don't think you can download either windows xp or vista, they are operating systems by the way.  You can purchase them at a store like Best Buy.  They are not cheap though.  I don't know what operating system you are running but I'm thinking your computer maybe a little older and may not even be able to install another operating system.  You may be better off checking out a new computer.  Good luck.

Ok, lets start this out.

1) You dont need itunes for limewire.  

2) You dont need Windows Xp or Vista for itunes, (you can run it on a mac too, and other versions of windows.

3) Assuming you do not have a mac computer, your Operating System(OS) is some varient of windows.  If you bought your computer in the last year, its probably vista, in the 6 before that, probably xp, before that, well it could be ME or 2000.  To find this out, right click on My Computer and select properties, you should see a window that tells you the version of your OS.

Windows XP is not free software. You need to buy it. If you are only looking to run Limewire, you can download Ubuntu for free and you can put limewire on it.
