I bought a pintail longboard and i am having lots of fun on it. but i used to get wheelbite, i tightened my trucks slightly to prevent wheelbite but still allow turning. since i cant carve very well going medium speed as other people do. i was thinking of cutting my board a little around under the wheels to so i have it look sort of like a loaded vanguard so i can carve better plus get bigger wheels later on. what do you guys think?

  1. Get taller risers.    You can also get wider trucks so the wheels stick out from the edges of the board and you don;t get wheelbite.

The trucks will stiffen up a bit as they break in.

I'd avoid cutting the deck unless you know what you are doing.  You can damage the integrity of the deck, causing it to fail prematurely.

  2. DONT CUT YOUR BOARD.

Just get some rises and wider trucks.

you should have trucks that have around 180mm hangers and somewhere around 1/5-1 inch risers.

A good website for trucks n stuff is http://www.thelongboardstore.com they have free shipping.
