I need low maintenance plants for the living room. Any ideas?

Our home decor is inspired by Asia. I already have bamboo, orchids and I have a real bad experience with bonzais. Any others asian inspired plants that you know about?

just use fake or plastic plants :P

Try a jade plant.  They are easy to care for and are known as the 'money plant'.  But get rid of the bonsai.  They are not good luck inside the home.

BUT plastic or do fighting  fish with white roses or branches in the water!
