I need major advice.?

Question

I'm in middle school. Going into 8th grade. And I haven't had a boyfriend in a year. Not because I cant get one, because over my past 7th grade year i've been asked out about every week. But all the boys in my grade are idiots. They are really obnoxious and I just don't want to date anyone. My best friend is in the grade ahead of me and she heard a rumor going around about me that I was bisexual because I don't have an interest in guys. And on my myspace my things where it says if you single, straight, and whatever is hidden (because i like my myspace small). They also said because something happened in the locker room. But the worst thing I've done in a locker room is run without my socks on and slide lol. I don't know what to do. And my best friend heard (shes going into 9th grade) because one of her best friends also going into 9th grade heard her little sister who is in my grade talking to one of her friends and her friend said it. I don't know who it was and it doesn't matter that much to me. just please help! Thanks.

honey please! first of all you don't need a boyfriend, as you have already ascertained, boys at that age are just goofy anyway, right? second of all, you simply can't be bothered with rumors. i still remember horrible things that were said about people when i was your age. gossip is entertainment for dull kids who have nothing better to do with their time. please trust me, paying it any attention at all only fuels the fire for the person who started talking smack about you. demonstrating your own personal confidence in your decisions will just make your rivals green with envy that you can live free as a bird without thinking for a second what other people think of you. basically--who cares. focus on getting a good education and developing wisdom and common sense, and when you grow up, life will be much more satisfying for you. best of luck honey, and remember to believe in yourself, peer pressures are irrelevant if you ignore them!

hey hi dude im going to 7th and um in my expirienceive seen a lot of girls with your situation look if you dont want to get in trouble just dont listen to them or tell the principle but if you do just comfront them and tell them to **** off or the other if get a boy friend so they can shut up hey um add me in your contacts so i  can know you beter ok
