  1. Get Raffi's Little White Duck. Its adorable.

  2. My preschooler came home today with a rain stick they made.  Rain on the pond.

It makes the sound of rain but can also be music if put to a rythem. Its easy to make.A cardborad tube (potty paper or paper towel) rice and tape to seal up the ends.

Croaking little froggies can sing to or with the rain.

Even a little drum or stomping feet can be the thunder.

After the rain the kids can pretend to be the bugs and birds that come out to play and sing their own special songs.

    Good luck!

  4. 5 little speckled frogs is a song and it has movements that go with it which will work as a music activity!

5 little speckled frogs, sat on a great big log

    (hold five fingers up)

    Eating the most delicious bugs,

    (pretent to eat)

    Yum, Yum

    (rub tummy)

1 jumped into the pond, where it was nice and cool

    (pretent to dive)

Now there are 4 speckled frogs

    (hold 4 fingers up)

    Brup, Brup

and you countiue the song counting down till u get to zero!
