Okay, so me & my best friend are planning a road trip:

Starts in Dallas, tx-

Albuquerque, NM

Flagstaff, AZ

Teec Nos Pos, AZ

Salt Lake City, UT

Missoula, MT

Cody, WY

Keystone, SD

Then back to Dallas, TX

I know its going to be an expensive road trip. But which would be the cheapest way to travel? Rent a small RV (which would save on hotels) or drive my 2002 Pontiac Grand AM.

Our road trip is set for June of 2009.

Please help us, Thanks!!

  1. i did a project in the sixth grade about taking a road trip and we found the cheapest way to go is by taking an rv, you save on food and hotel bills... have fun

  2. That's a long drive so i guess it depends on the price of gas at the time if gas prices keep rising you might want to look at the RV idea to save on hotels but the extra gas a motor home will use could outweigh the other

  3. Get a honda definately not an R V.

  4. Do you know anything about RV travel? You can''t just park on the street. You have to reserve spaces far in advance at RV parks, and pay for the spaces and services - that plus the low mileage, rental charges, and insurance costs does not make it cheaper than car/motel travel.
