I want subtle make-up for school...but I need help...

I don't want to wear too much since I am in school...but I want a nice color that will make my eyes seem bigger and brighter. My skin tone is light/medium tan, my eyes are light brown, kinda hazely and I have thick dark brown eyebrows.

I want a color that makes my eyes bigger and brighter but wont darken my skin tone or look too heavy :)

  1. Here is the best makeup routine for you, specially made by yours truly =]

    1) Wash your face at least once a day

-- I know it is not make up, but having clear skin will take away from some of the desire to wear too much make up =]

    2) Bronzer or Blush

-- Dust bronzer along your cheekbones with a bronzer brush to highlight your cheekbones and give your face a healthy glow. Brush the bronzer from the apples of your cheeks along your cheekbones and into your hairline

    3) Eye shadow (optional)

-- The best colors for your eyes would be green, purple, or pink. Put a little bit on your eyelids close to your lash line, to give you some color but not exaggerate it.

    4) Eye liner (optional)

-- This will make your eyes pop. Make a thin line along your upper lid as close to your lash line as you can get, use your finger to smooth the line if you get a bump here or there. Use brown as opposed to black, it looks much more natural. Also when applying it, make a bunch of little lines to create a big line, that way you have less of a chance of creating a funny line!

    5) Mascara

-- Always put this on last to prevent any powder from getting on it and covering up the black. This is what basically makes the face so apply it to your upper lashes and if you want to, your lower lashes. Then voila! You are beautiful!

    I hope I could help =]]

  2. i'd go for a bronze color on your eye lids and a thin layer of light gold underneath your eyes will make your eyes appear bigger and brighter :)  and it will look great with your skin tone and eye color

  3. a dark hazelnut, but not too dark to take away from your eyebrows.. and your eyes,

  4. only put mascara on the top lashes then use a brown eyeliner on top and bottom eyelids most bold towards the outer corners of your eyes, putting a little pink eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes will really make your eyes pop...it works for me!! =)

  5. Use a light, shimmery cream, beige, or silver color on the inner corners of your eyes (between your nose and eyes) and over the browbone. It will make your eyes pop and look bigger without adding too much color.

  6. OOOH use a LITTLE bit of white eyeliner in the corners of your eyes to make them pop and look bigger.

This will make them look more awake too.

You can also try waxing or threading your eyebrows so that they

are a little thinner, because this will bring a lot more focus to your eye area and also make your eyes look a little bigger and probably nicer.

(get this done professionally the first time)

And you can also try a light, semi shimmery peach eyeshadow..

I think it would really look good with a light tan. :)

  7. Peach

  8. well you can use natural colors that are your skin tone so it looks naturalbut still makes your face pop :)

  9. if  you don't wanna use eye shadow, then i'd suggest just some simple brown eyeliner on the top lid, then get WHITE eyeliner and line the bottom, which makes the eyes look a lot better. and of course a highlighter color on your tear duct and brow bone should also contribute to the brightness.
