Ask your teacher for ideas to how to get exp. Ask whoever you think can help. Maybe make some advertisements of some CD's you like whether is it poster ot a video. Just do whatever seems right.

If you are still in high school, continue until you graduate, then go to college, and major in marketing.

Marketing is a very lucrative career. With a degree in marketing, you will be able to sell any product, with training, with the particular product, from the company that hires you.

My son-in-law graduated from Marshall University, in Huntington, WV with a degree in marketing. He, my daughter and the kids live in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and he works for a medical products company, and knocks down about $350,000 per year.

I will say, to my son-in-law's credit, that he is a very ambitious, hard-working young man. He challenges himself when it comes to sales production.

I agree with burt...   join a network marketing company for its mentorship, once you learn the basic on marketing/ distributing and advertising it should serve as a foundation for you to promote your music.
