I need military homecoming banner ideas quick! Husband comes home in a week!?

I'm trying to think of something creative. Doesnt have to be original. BUt maybe more than just welcome home&i love you =] I have my big white sheet ready. just have to buy my paints at home depot but if you have any prior experience or ideas, I"D LOVE YOU FOREVERS!

"Welcome home.... I have the sheets ready!" since it's on a big white sheet.  I think he'll just be happy to see you cared no matter what you put on there!

I don't know if you have kiddos. On all occasions of my hubby returning home we would have the kiddos put their hand prints and foot prints on a banner and hang it off of the garage or carport what ever we have at the time.. We have kept each and everyone of them and it is so cool to compare how big the kids have gotten over the years. It is a nice reminder for him to see that we are all so excited for him to come home.

I came home to my house and the frontroom was filled with balloons, I made my husabnd a cake once and (we are duel military) and I have seen others put up yellow ribbons everywhere, I have seen that marines come in on trucks at the fornt gates of the base, we come in on th eplane at the ariforce base (we are army) so the marine wives put their blankets ont he fence and leave them there. I came back from a mission trip with my church and caught a unit coming back on a civilian flight and they all had signs and a big  blanket, I ran into a unit once when I was waiting for my husbands squad to come back they had a cake and banners and signs and tiny flags they were going to wave.
