Question:

I need money for a car, are there any grants specifically for transportation? if so where can i find them!?

i really have to get to school on a regular. it is extremely difficult to do that depending on other people such as family who are hours away and friends who aren't that lineant expecially with gas prices racing to the heavens! lol! please someone engage my question and deliver a hopeful answer!

  1. Go on public transport till you've saved enough for driving lessons and a car.


  2. There is no such thing as a grant for autos. If you have a job you can apply for a auto loan at the dealer or at capitalone.com, roadloans.com, hsbc.com

  3. That's a tough one. Unfortunately, there are no "grants" that would buy you a car. If there were, we would all be going after them.

    I can only suggest that you find a family member to either 1) give you a car, 2) loan you the money for a car, or 3) co-sign with you for a loan, assuming you have some way of paying it off. You can look at ways to make money with part-time jobs or look at opportunities on the Internet. Here's an article that has some suggestions that might work for you:

    You obviously have a computer and it's not that hard to make some money with it. Whether you can make enough for a car depends on how serious you are about it.
