  1. ......

  2. go here

    www.aviationinterviews.com

They have gouge on every airline you can think of.

  3. The airline pilot trade schools coach their students on AL interviews. They know the importance of fielding the hard questions and handling them quickly and expertly.

Sample: 'What high performance airplane are you qualified in? What are the emergency procedures for engine fire?' If you don't answer this quickly and expertly, it places you in a bad light.

  4. make your question more specific

  5. A pilot interview is a long interview. Each company is different, but when I applied for a Falcon 20 FO, it went like this.

First 2 hrs, a bunch of different tests such as basic math, reading comprehension, symbol interperation, and basic physic mechinaics.

From there, we went over to a PCATD and did a takeoff, flying to a waypoint, entering a hold, departing the hold, flying inbound to do an ILS, while the examiner watched and acted like the copilot operating the flaps and gear.

From there we had a oral portion, where you briefed a approach plate (EWR to be exact),then they asked you a bunch of questions such as you have two radios, how would you set up the radios for this approach to the a/p? What is the descent profile, and how far out you had to start it?.

From there was the actual interview with the HR people and the chief pilot, and then your done about 6 hrs later. (with a 1hr lunch break)

  6. You certainly do!

Open the books, do some actual research.

    Good Luck
