My mom paid money for her car so its her car so why does my dad check the oil and water in her car for her once a month? Couldn't she check it herself?

its a guy thing. the fact of the matter is that women actually take better care of their vehicles maintenance than men do. now if only they could take care of the cleanliness of their vehicles.

#1 - Because she and he like it this way. It's their choice, no big deal.

#2 - Just out of curiosity, why DO you keep asking this same question on here? I just don't see what purpose you may have?

#3 - If you want to know the reason, why not just ask Mom and Dad? That way you will know for sure. All you can get on here is guesses and opinions.

yes she could do it for her self ( if she wants to )

somebody should is check it so your dad does not get a big repair bill. thats probably why he's doing it

If she asked him to do it, It gives her an opportunity to let her man know she see's him as in a manly way. If he tells her he will do it, it give him the opportunity to let his woman know he cares about her well being and safety...  Or it could be a great manicure and she doesn't want to mess it up and he doesn't want to deal with her freaking out when the engine seizes up.
