All VCRs and DVD Recorders have both In and Out.

A cable box can't record - so no need for IN.

There are TVs with Video out, but these days, most TVs don't have a video out.

you can get an av selector from radio shack,best buy ,circuit city or search online for av selectors. and most cable boxes have an input and output so you can record from them contact your cable company
