I need opinions on what career i should look into?? ?

i love babies. i would love to be an obstatrician. or a midwife or an pediatrician. i am 18 and have a 4 month old son. i have been wanting to do something like this for 2 years. i just think it would be really hard to do. any recremendations on what career i could pick and one that wouldnt be too hard for me to do as in school and stuff??

well a doctor is 8 years of real hard work/study and very costly -- i do not know the requirements for a mid wife!!!  best bet is talk to your school advisor about your options as far as finanical aid and acceptability for further schooling!!!

You're asking for the IMPOSSIBLE. There are NO careers that "wouldn't be too hard for me to do as in school and stuff". Life is hard enough without any career. Any worth while career will require about 15 hours of study, 8 hours of work (to pay for schooling) that leaves you 1 hour to take a nap before you START the day all over again. Have you spoken with your parents? They are the best sources of information and advice. After all they see you everyday. They are most qualified to KNOW exactly what kind of a person you have been up to now. We at Y! only know you by your comments in the question. We haven't a clue what you might be good at -- career wise i mean. We already KNOW how good you were at keeping from getting pregnant. LOL Good luck. Talk with Mom or Dad, O.K.?

Look into a occupational skills school that offers a program in health careers if you are interested in a medical career. It will give you the most flexibility with a small child at home as well as provide a career in the least amount of time with job placement after graduation. That really sounds like a commercial doesn't it? Good luck.
