Hi. I have a tall narrow which i would like to still let the light through but add privacy. I bought a faux wood blind which was custom made but realized i measured to short and now i need to do something else, since that was 60$. I want to explore other options before paying another $60. Where can i get a curtain rod/curtains for this size window? I have also looked for window clings, nothing decorative, just plain and not able to see though it but still let light in, any ideas where to find this? I could just measure and cut a piece to fit the window, any idea where i can get a small roll of static window cling? Any other ideas would be great. thanks

  1. How about a tension rod and a piece of fabric either glued to the rod, or sewn by someone? 10 minutes work. The rod should be less than $5.00, and 1 yard of sheer material less than $10.

  2. Hi, maybe try curtains intended for sidelight windows . . . they are narrow, 26" wide, and come in 63" length.

  3. I bought static window cling in a roll that was 3 feet wide & 20 feet long at Home Depot.  I got the kind with UV filtering.  They also had the kind that is mirrored on the back side.   If the window is 10 inches wide, why not just use a dowel?  They are available at both craft and hardware stores & you can buy whatever kind of hardware you want.  I would look for sheer fabric and put it on the dowel.
