i need outdoor game ideas for headstart students. Am a parent voluunteer and we need ideas on what outdoor games is suitable for the children. we are having the this last say occassion at a beach. any ideas. please

  1. Polo's a good game, dont play hide and seek you might and up loosing a kid!!

    do you have a parachute? that's always a favorite

    obstacle courses

    relays (no competition though -  everyone just participates)

    any game you play inside can be adapted to be played outside - just take them all out.  If you have playground equipment, you won't even really need a plan - just let them go!

  5. sack racing was fun when i was a kid! cant forget freeze tag!

  6. Treasure hunt in the graden (of course you have to read the clues and drop hints)

    Egg & spoon race (use a lemon instead of an egg)

    sing a long with a repeat song which has actions

    ring games - like ring around the rosey

    if you have a wading pool - get the kids in their swimsuits!

  7. Duck duck goose and Simon Says were my favorites as a kid!
