I need pond help to much algea!?

I have a pond in my backyard but its filled with algea! i try all the time to get rid of the algea, ive used algeaside, and it comes back worse every time! does anyone know how to stop it?

The problem is too much light, too much heat and/or too many nutrients in the water.  So, if you put in some plants that cover the surface of the pond, water lillys, water lettuce, etc, that will help.  If you can aerate the water and thereby cool the water at the same time, that will help too.  Too many fish in the pond will put too many nutrients in the water.

you need to make sure your water is moving around. also add water  plants to the pond.
