Only thoses of used and where successful or failed. What happened and what you used it on?

Thanks

  1. You don't want opinions like this.  What you want, and will not get, is results from a certified testing laboratory.  Please note that mileage normally increases when a driver goes to a lot of trouble to install any sort of purportedly fuel-saving system on his vehicle.  The reason is that, having put forth the expense and the effort, he'll always drive more carefully, which always improves fuel economy.

  2. Mr Wizard, shame on you, i thought you were intelligent.

The gasoline engine could be a closed system, but you have to include the gasoline going out of the exhaust, and the work the catalytic converter does to burn up other noxious gases and any unburned gasoline.

Of course gasoline can be burned more efficiently. look up ultra-lean burn combustion engines. If you reduce the emissions, and improve the burn rate of combustion, you will get more energy out of the gasoline than in a standard combustion engine.

    ----------------------------------------...

first law says "you can't win". meaning that there is no way to extract more energy than there is in a closed system.

second law says "you can't break even". meaning that there will always be losses that you cannot capture.

water 4 gas or whatever you want to call it violates both principles. check the wikipedia article cited above.

  3. first, there is no such thing as HHO, there is no way atoms could do what the inventors and scam artist say.  Everyone that boost claims here are being investigated by the FTC for false advertising, so lets just call this a warning, be able to back up you claims in court or pay the penalty.

You can make H2 gas plus O2 gas, there is no question about it.  A group of engineers studied in one of my work groups.  If you google it you'll find the results, I can't give you links but key words include engineering forums and hydrogen gas, because until you find the answer, why would you believe either side, but think about it, the engineers have nothing to gain from their side and the sellers has your money to gain.

  4. I am a 15 year automotive technician. There are a lot of people just saying HHO is not real and is a scam. I can understand some skepticism but the people who say these things seem to not have any experience with it (where is thier proof?). I believed it was possible when I looked at the youtube videos of people exploding the bubbles.  And even more when I had my first and last explosion in my bathroom. And I knew it was 100% real after I did my first miles per gallon test after an installation. Some cars and trucks might need more tweeking than others to avoid the computer from injecting more fuel because of the incresed oxygen in the exhaust. But a vehicle without fuel injection is super easy to convert (no computer to deal with). I drive around everyday in my HHO hybrid. I get 45.3 on the highway. Over 37% better than my 1995 Hyundai's hwy mpg rating for when it was brand new. There are people saying how our fuel is so efficient that there's no way combustion can be improved. That's the biggest load of c**p I ever heard. Why do you think we have a government run smog program? I'm not trying to sell you on the idea. I just want to set the record straight. Search for videos and you will find many hard working dedicated people who have seen first hand what HHO does. I'm one of them. I video tape some of my experiments and tests. "Intellectuals" may conclude that this won't work because thier education told them what is possible and what is not. God help them. The media has little power or motive to get this information out, but one day it will hit critical mass and everyone will know the world is round.

    pick which ever you like.

someone trying to sell you something.

or a legal court case that said it doesn't work.

    have a nice day.

btw, nobody's going to brag to you that they went to Vegas and lost $1,000, or paid to install something on their car and wasted all that time and money, and maybe ruined their car.

  6. It’s a con job and not even a good one. Let’s look at the testimonials they post

Here’s one from a HHO web site

“Our road tests have achieved 50% increase on a heavy 350 V8 van, 56% on a Ford truck, 107% on my Toyota Corolla, 285% on a Chevy 4WD pickup and recently 430% (this is not a typo) on another Chevy pickup here in California. “

The average efficiently of an internal combustion engine is about 20% (and this is the number I’ll use) so to get the 50% increase the smallest number claim in this testimonial the efficiency of the engine would have to increase to 30%. In order for the engine to get 50% better fuel mileage would have to increase its efficiency by 50%, so 50% of 20 is 10, 10% increase plus our starting 20% equals 30%. Makes since right? To get a 50% increase in fuel mileage your engine would have to be 50% more efficient. Now to make the 430% increase your engine efficiency would have to increase to 106%, in another words we would be getting more energy then what is in the fuel itself!

People who build high performance engines spend thousands of dollars to get more efficiency out of their engines. Remember the more efficient an engine is the more HP you get for every drop of fuel. If they could make their engines 50% more efficient with a $65 device they would do it in less than a heartbeat.

They also claim they burn all the un-burnt fuel in a system, even if it were true and even if you used a not so clean engine from the 1970’s and if you were getting 20 mpg your new mpg would be 20.16192 mpg not counting the fuel lost making the HHO (but that's another story). . The 1975 emission standards for un-burnt hydrocarbons was 1.5 grams per mile.

They also say you need a new oxygen sensor so you can run your engine much leaner (which is how they get the increase in fuel mileage only not as much as what’s claimed in the testimonials), but doing so will increase the temperature of the inside of the cylinder, this will result in burnt valves, pistons, and cylinder head damage. You won’t notice the damage right away it takes time so say in 5,000 miles or so you get the joy of rebuilding a motor, $2,000 to $5,000+ going without a car for a few weeks. In addition to the engine damage caused by lean burn and high combustion temperatures and an excess of oxygen (when you burn lean you burn all the fuel but you don’t use all the oxygen) cause the formation of nitrogen oxide.

Back in the 70’s, 80’s it wasn’t that uncommon for the Chrysler lean burn systems to produce burnt valves. Chrysler tried to make its emission and C.A.F.E number by leaning out the fuel air mix with a computer and they had lots of problems with burn valves.

So in the end it just a con, it’s been bench tested and proven not to work, but there are (and always will be) a lot of gullible people who just want to believe.

  7. buncha hooey.

never, not even once, have the laws of thermodynamics been successfully overcome.

first law says "you can't win". meaning that there is no way to extract more energy than there is in a closed system.

second law says "you can't break even". meaning that there will always be losses that you cannot capture.

water 4 gas or whatever you want to call it violates both principles. check the wikipedia article cited above.
