i have a viewsat xtreame satelite and if I turn it on instead of it saying 0000 or the time it says - - - - does anyone know whats wrong with it

  1. Check all conections.  Unplug it from the power outlet forabout 5 minutes, plug it back in.  Try again.  Should offer set-up menu or options.  Follow those prompts.  If not, call provider and make sure you are connected.
