I need recommendations on what to use to treat fin rot?

I like Tetracycline.  It is the most heavy duty fin rot medicine you can get, for severe fin rot.  For cases of more mild fin rot, Maracyn I and II will get the job done.  And it is always good for all cases to keep the water pristine and add in a little aquarium salt.

Melafix.

I absolutely love the stuff and it's a wide-range treatment for aquariums.

Just be careful with it the chemicals in it are bad for humans.

Clears up the majority of stuff in a matter of two or three days. We used it to treat fin rot on a pleco of ours.
