  1. Does child protective services know of the dire straits in which your children live?

Have someone step in and take care of your kids while you sign yourself into rehab. You can't take care of children, if you can't take care of yourself.

  2. Usually county funded rehabs will be willing to take you without insurance, but there is usually a waiting list and the children can't come with you.

Another option is to start going to Cocaine Anonymous (or Narcotics Anonymous, or even Alcoholics Anonymous if there is no other available group) and get just a little sober time under your belt.  Then see if you can find a sober living home that is geared towards accepting children with the recovering addict, so you can still live with your children.  Usually, you can find out about where to find these posted in CA/NA/AA halls bulletin boards or by asking around in the meetings.  Now, I will warn you up front, a sober living home (if it is any good at all) has significant rules and regulations in the house for staying sober.  These include, but are not limited to, staying sober, being subject to drug testing at random (as well as upon admission), following basic house rules, assisting in community chores, weekly attendance requirements in CA/NA/AA, weekly house meetings to assess progress, and other rules that are discussed prior to admission.  Failure to follow these can result in immediate dismissal without refunds.  Moneywise, these facilities only require that you pay your contribution for staying there and do not generally charge for the relearning experience for staying sober.  They also have a great environment for peer support while you fight this addiction.

    Weigh your options carefully.

    Good luck!

  3. Why not get the money from the same place you got the cash for the coke?

  4. and go to the nearest rehab and check urself in dude.
