Over a month ago I contacted an attorney for help with 3 outstanding parking tickets that incurred outrageous fees over a long period of time. The attorney spent over a month trying to contact someone regarding the matter, well, time went by and I thought I had until the end of this month to renew my license, but it appears that it expired on July 12th. The attorney mailed a letter to some MD State Dept., I believe the other day, just to get a response of some kind.

I NEED SOME HELP REALLY FAST...any good suggestion of resoltution is most appreciated.

  1. You dont need an attorney. Go to the secretary of state and get a print out of tickets owed and the amount, and what city they are from. Go on the internet for that city and get a number for someone who deals with parking fines and try to get a settlement amount. In chicago the tickets double after 21 days but no more fees after that, so make sure the fees are legit.

  2. Pay the tickets... simple as that.  You are not exempt from the law.
