  1. 1. Multiply the measurement in meters by 100 to get cm. (100cm = 1m)

    2. Divide the measurement in millimeters by 10 to get centimeters. (10mm = 1cm; or 100cm = 1m, 1000mm = 1m)

    3. Smallest voume = the number at the bottom of the cylinder.

Largest volume = the number at the top of the cylinder - this is the best I can say since I don't know what cylinder the question is asking about)

    4.  The metric system is based on 10...all you have to do is move a decimal left or right to convert units.  In converting yards to inches math is involved - multiplying by 36.

    5.  Read the volume at the bottom of the meniscus (the curved line at the top of the fluid level)

    6. 10X * 25X = 250X
