  1. I know you have heard of the old saying, count sheep. But the secret is not so much counting as it is watching them jump over the fence. Turn off your lights, Computer, Stereo and close your eyes. Now imagine watching the first sheep from where it is standing and when it jumps up and over the fence and when it lands, then move to the next sheep. It's the movement of the eyes that will put you to sleep. Works for me. Good luck to you sir.

  2. try taking some benedryl put on some nice relaxing music open a book start reading while drinking a warm beverage such as milk, tea, or hot water with lemon and honey. Try some deep breathing exercises breathe in 123 then blow out 123 rotate your shoulders or shrug them a few times and gently massage your temples move your jaw around a few times while massaging keep breathing then lye down close your eyes and imagine yourself somewhere peaceful and meditate on that for awhile and before you know it you are asleep. If you are having insomnia frequently you may want to cut out caffeine or stop drinking caffeinated beverages by 7pm.

  3. just lie in bed. even if you're not sleeping your body is still resting, which is better than being up and walking about.

take a really long hot shower. that always makes me feel really tired.

  4. omg im in the same exact situation. i heard if you lie down for 7 minutes and close your eyes you will fall asleep. hope that this helped :]

  5. Drink hot milk. Take a hot bath. Try to clear your mind. Don't use any bright lights before going to bed as it has been proved that if you look at a computer screen, your eyes think the bright light is daylight and your brain produces a chemical to keep you awake. Try some relaxing music or sit in silence for ten minutes to give your brain chance to wind down. Take lots of deep breaths as this slows your blood pressure down and relaxes you. Keep warm as warm muscles relax more. Make sure there is no noise around your bed to distract you.

  6. Don't think about anything. I know it's hard to but if it doesnt work out, you may be thinking and worrying about stuff, so jot those down in paper then release yourself so youll have a peace of mind. Good night, im also going to sleep now, wish me luck.

  7. well u can just lay there till u fall asleep, or u can take a sleeping med..... or if u stay up..... pinch ur self every 5 min for staying up all night and going to do something important the next day!

  8. the reason your not tired is because either you are drinking Coffey before bed or you drink too much v or energy drinks during the day. a few ways to get to sleep is to have a long bath and watch some tv for a bit.. that normally knocks me out, and if you have any lavender, or Alvera oil, rub that on your face and chest, it relaxes your body and makes you sleep easy...( dont use cooking oil,it wont work) and while your in bed, put your mind on something and that way you wont be thinking about going to sleep, and you will drift off...hope this helps

  9. try some sleeping pills
