  1. Don't worry, I'm 13 as well and have your problem.

Try to leave your room for a couple of minutes, do some stuff, and return. Or, you could try what I did (not fun, mind you) and get yourself so exhausted during the day that you just collapse into bed.

  2. You and I are not the same age..but you just described how I live and it's terrible.  I have tried Excedrin PM and they have one that is just for sleep..go to Walmart or Walgreen's or any place like that and go to the isle that says sleep aids...you need a good nights sleep..

Take one of these tablets and get into bed with a good book..and swallow the pill with milk..if this doesn't work talk to your doctor..take a copy of your well written explanation of the sleep problem..and show it to him/her..Good Luck and Good Night...oh and before you take any medication please tell your parents what you are doing..maybe one of them will go with you to select the sleeping aide.

  3. You might consider getting some Benadryl and taking one an hour before bedtime. I also take Valerian root capsules - they help a lot.

  4. If you are 13 you can to get sleeping medication, and not all of them are addictive, I used to have a problem Staying asleep not falling asleep. My doctor told me to take 1 or 2 Benadryl at night. It wasn't addictive and didn't have any side effects. So if you don't want to try sleeping medication you could try that. OR try taking baths before you go to bed

  5. Do you have a lot going on in your life at the moment? Stress can be one reason why you're not sleeping. You can try some over the counter medicines at the store. If those don't work definitely talk to your doctor about it and see what other alternatives they have.
