detailed Version:

Ok..RIGHT before I go to bed, I tend to here voices..Maybe I'll think of something that happened during my day, and then i'll actually here it or I here a woman's voice.Ok, like on the 4th of July, we'd been popping firecrackers all day.Right before i went to bet, all I keep hearing inside my head was firecracker..I know i'm not crazy, because they never order me to do anything, and I know I got a leveled head.

Short version:I hear voices before I slip into an unconcious sleep.

  1. If you only hear these voices right before bed, then, based on what you've described, what you are experiencing is totally normal.  Your brain is recalling events that have happened to you, and it isn't unusual for you to hear voices.  What I suspect, however, is not that you are actually using your ears for hearing it.  I think you are probably "hearing" it in the same way you sort of hear a voice in your head when you are reading something.  If that is the case, then it is a perfectly normal part of falling asleep.  Some people will hear that inside narrating voice telling a story before they fall asleep, and some people will hear sounds that occur in their early dreams.  Some people will take sounds that they actually DO hear, and will incorporate that into their dreams. It's all part of falling asleep, so don't worry so much!


  2. You are able to hear your Sub conscious mind at work before You are totally asleep. This happens to other people too but most will not admit it.

  3. I think this question should be reposted in Religion/Spirituality or in Mental Health - I am not sure which - but I am sure there are lots of people in either/both sections who could help with this one.

  4. it could be a chemical embalance or perhaps you slipping into a twilight sleep and not aware of it.  Your chemicals can be off and you can still have a level head.

  5. This happens I think to everyone every now and then throughout a lifetime.  Just don't get scared.  

    Some people go to a psychologist and some don't. Sometimes it takes a long time to learn how not to pay to much attention to it or to deal with it.

    Whatever you do don't do bad things if you think these voices are telling you to do bad things to animals or other people.  

    It is natural to rethink about all the day time activities we have before we go to sleep - to relive them in our thoughts and hear them too.

    Just hang in there and hold on tight to the things you know are right.
