I need sociology questioins for tv, war, colleges/universities?

I need to create a sociological question for the three. and give a hypothetical or real world examples of the concepts. Im new to the sociology class and right at the beginning, everything is going over my head..please help

I don't really know if you need a question that ties all of these together or if they can be approached as separate issues.

TV by itself. You might want to look at old cartoons that children watched in the 50's like Pop Eye to new cartoons that are out there now, and show the different emphasis we place on values or cultural mores.

On war you could look at how the American public stood behind the country when we were in WWI and WWII and how our attitudes have changed over the years.

On colleges and universities you could look at how we now have a lot of commuter colleges and adults attending classes for retraining after losing their jobs, in one way or another, compared to how people use to go to college and live in a dorm, and were young when they got there.

I have a paper for you that  I have wanted to write and just don't have the time. If you get a chance look at how we have watched the creation of a deviant behavior in our lifetimes-smoking. Back in the 20's it was chic. Now it's just wrong. Sometimes you can't even get hired if you smoke!

I don't smoke, never have, but it is so interesting to watch how our cultures values, norms, and mores change over time.
