for a summer program, kindergarten to 7th grade. Some great ideas would include those that students would barely even realize they were learning anything subject related. Its a summer program not school. Thanks for looking and helping!

  2. Do a lot of hands-on experiments.  My daughter (college student) and I have started a science club after school where I teach.  We have done things like blow up balloons with vinegar and baking soda, blow up Diet Coke with Mentos, experiment with growing plants to see if they really need water or would any liquid (like pop, syrup, milk) help them grow (the milk got really sour - so skip that part); measure your lung capacity using water displacement, create buildings out of coffee stirrers and marshmallows and then put them onto pans of jello to see if they would hold up to an earthquake.  On our last meeting we are going to show the difference between physical change and chemical change by making trail mix and ice cream.
