I need some Help for my Harvest moon Cute game!?!?!?

Okay, my Axe is mystrile and it says that it can cut trees for lumber, but I can't cut a tree down no matter how hard I try, can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? thank you in advance!

You need to charge your tool to use it at a higher level.

Hold Down A and your character will start winding up, each additional level is a really obvious animation.  When you get to any level charge 2 and over, let go to hit stumps.  The higher the charge, the more stamina used, but the fewer blows it will take to break it.

A full charged mystrile ax breaks stumps in one shot!

All the other tools work the same way.

It might mean logs.

To be honest i have no need to cut down trees but you might have to hold 'Y' down to use the power-up. Like with watering cans and hammers.
