I need some advice, Can anyone help?

I am currently 15 years old. And i am about to be a sophmore in highschool. When I was in 7th grade I knew i wanted to go to this Private high school but I did bad and in 8th grade I found out I didnt get into the school. SO i went to a public school my freshman year knowing I had to do good to try to get in for sophmore year.. I absolutely hated pubic school by the way. I tried really hard and ended up getting in. My mom told me I could go if I got in. Now its summer and my mom has decided not to let me go because she says money is to much and th economy is bad. I feel like I want to kill someone. I need advice. SHould I pick my self back up again and try to get in for junior year or just not care about school and be pissed off. Right now i am in a tough point of my life. This is the only thing I ever wanted really bad and I cant go!!!.... I just need some advice should i try again and go through another brutal year at my public school....>??

gosh this is a tough one..

im going to a private high school..

you should try getting a job...or maybe talk to the school and say youll pay by the month or something..

make sure they know this is something you absolutely will do anything for..and that you have always wanted this

Many students from Public schools end up going to Stanford and UCLA. Not everyone can afford private schools. Try to understand your mom's situation. Take public health school as a positive experience and try to get in to AP classes and you will see...if you are smart, it doesn't matter if you go to private or public.

My sister went to community college first and then transferred to UCLA. Now she is going to Yale for her medical school.

not everyone is made up of money and public schools arent that bad, people just make it seem worse than wat it really is

if u really want to go that bad then try again ur junior year

dont some private high schools have like scholarships or stuff like that that u can earn if u were smart enough to get in??

Ok. You can always get a job and save the money in an account for school if you want. Don't give up. And also, don't do something you'll regret later on like not caring about school because then you definitely won't get into good colleges or get scholorships that will help and you won't end up with a good year. Don't look back because you were ticked about not getting into a certain school your sophomore high school year. You can also always talk to your parents about it. Maybe strike up a deal which we do a lot and it helps. You could offer to pay half if your mom pays half or something. But get a job while you can. Just start applying everywhere because when you do decide you want a job, you won't get one till like 7 months later thanks to the economy. Hope I helped and good luck!
