So there is a very close friend I have and she keeps borrowing my clothes! Now she asks me first but maybe Im just a wimp and can't say no but she doesn't lend me any of her clothes, nor do I ask. But the problem is she is larger than me and stretches them out or damages them. The last time she borrowed some clothes she got ink all over them in the washer and then asked to just keep it since they were damaged. I saw her wearing one of the shirts a week later and it had barely any ink on it!! The other clothes she will simply never bring back. So Im tempted to tell her no next time but is there a nice way of explaining it so when she says she will bring it back I won't simply say no you wont you liar! Recently I asked her to bring me the ink stained one and she replied I thought you said since they were damaged that I could keep them! Am I pushover or is it wrong to want my own freaking clothes back!

  1. no its not wrong!!!next time just tell her no and if she asks why say, bc umm they are my clothes and everytime u borrow my clothes somehow it never gets back to me sorry!!!and if she says i promise i will say i said NO!!!!!!!!

  2. say for her in a cute way:sorry u can't borrow them i need 2 wear them tomorrow,today...etc.

  3. No it's not wrong!! Next time she asks you tell her no! And keep telling her no, and hopefully eventually she'll get the hint

  4. i guess you could tell her that your mom said that you couldnt borrow any more cloths because she pays for them-if you are still living with mom and dad.   but if your an adult and this is happening just be honest with her and tell her no, but maybe when im done wearing them because its my favorite outfit.  Also tell her that you want all of your cloths back before she ever gets any of your other cloths.  and once you get them say no.  i would just keep telling her no

  5. Just say no.  If she asks why than simply state - it's my favorite shirt/pants/skirt/whatever of the moment and I just couldn't bear to lend it out right now.  Then change the subject!
