I need some advice on saving money for school?

Ok so I started working in June and its a part time job. So make $8/hr and so far I saved $535 and some odd cents. My goal is try to have at least over $1000 by mid August. I know I won't be able to go to school full time- any advice on how I can continue to save more and more. My dad agreed to pay for my classes also.

All the following suggestions may sound simple, but are not easy:

Work more hours.

Find a better paying job(s).

Spend less.

Sell your old stuff to thrift stores or through garage sales.

dont be buying too many things that are wants. focus only on your NEEDS. That will always work when you are trying to save money.
