I stopped the pill in December, so its right around 8 months ago. I was on it for almost 9 years, and they think I am STILL not ovulating. My doctor's appointment is in the morning, and I will go over my BBT charts with him (which look like I did) but the last blood test I had say I was not. Anyway... my question is has anyone else taken this long to ovulate after the pill, and what do they usually recommend at this point? As far as medication, etc. I just want to know experiences, so I can have things planned to talk to him about in the morning. THANKS FOR ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME!

  1. I have not heard of it taking anyone that long to O after the pill but i have from the shot. If you are not O'ing the dr can treat that usually sometimes your body might just need a jump start with Clomid or something to gear it up. Good luck.

  2. You probably do not want to be put on any kind of medication if you're trying to conceive. First try natural things like eating healthy, exercizing, getting enough sleep at night, and drinking lots of water. Usually if you give your body what it needs, it will begin to function better. Plus, these are all habits you'll want to have during pregnancy, so it doesn't hurt to get into the groove now! Good luck. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer :)
