Does anyone know of any "The Shadow Of Death" 23rd psalm allusions in western literature? and I also need a link to it, or at least the title of the book so I can try finding it. Thanks!

i keep thinking of phantom of the opera, how the phantom himself is shadow, darkness death...

little women by louisa may alcott, the chapter where Beth is dying is all about the shadow of death, and there are lots of biblical analogies, direct and indirect throughout the text.

harry potter, particularly the last book, lots of generally shadowy death stuff, thinking specifically about him walking to his death beneath the shadows in the 'dark' forest, and the contrast with the light in the 'limbo' between life and death.
