  1. well first, find out the official bed time and find out ALL the rules they have...after that you can work from there to figure out what you can do. (some parents have certain rules).

have things to do for each kid...different kind of games...i have played with little 3 and 4 years old before for a class assignment...they loved being read books and they loved playing hand games and love it when you let them do things for themselves.

have a good family/kid movie on hand...find out the movie selections they have or what you need to bring.

see if there is a nearby park you can take them to, let them sit outside for awhile, let the 8 year old ride his bike or blades and let the 4 yr. old play with dolls or toys outside.

  2. Check out some books at the library!!

They will be packed full with more info we can give you on here. Plus they will have activities & stuff.

    *Make Oobleck!! See link below!

*Bring crafts they might like to do!

*Play games they suggest you play!

**American Girl has a REALLY good Babysitting kit & handbook! I highly recommend it!!

Good Luck, Relax, & Have Fun! :)

  3. put on the t.v. and get wasted!!! WOOOHOOO

    good luck

  4. Well play games like hide and seek

Make like food experments i used to love that

Let them play with your phone or any earings but watch closley lol little kids love to play with danglely thing not that kind of way...lol

Draw play board games. Read books watch tv.(:

  5. bring movies and popcorn and candy (ask if they can have it 1st)  play games like hide and seek and watch a few movies that will eat up you time. when it's bed time put them in their rooms and leave the door cracked so you can hear them. um if you play with them then give them a bath then watch a movie they will get sleepy and you wont have to fight them to go to sleep. the 4yr will fall a sleep first she little so she'll go. don't watch a action movie b/c it will keep the boy wired watch something calm but interesting. Disney otta go it. the frist movie the girl should be sleep.  just watch the movie until they fall asleep and put them in their beds. when they sleep if theres still time before their parents come home just watch tv but not to loud b/c you want to keep them asleep and you want to be able to hear if there is a problem. check on them once or twice but just peek don't open the door wide it's just to make sure they're there and a live. don't worry you'll be ok. if they are really bad you punish them with time outs and when time out is over you tell them to apologize and sit  and watch a movie to calm them down if they really mess up they go to bed early and mom and dad will hear about it when they get home. thats it.

  6. play a board game

    watch a movie

    make them a snack

    go outside [until dark]

help them with homework [if school started]

read the little girl a book

play catch with the boy after the girl goes to bed

  7. don't p**s them off cuz they may tell vicious lies and rumors to their parents

  8. you could give them a "sleepover"

they will think it's fun sleeping in sleeping bags in the lounge room...you could pop popcorn with them and watch a classic kid's movie like the Lion King, which both boys and girls would like, or Peter Pan. Then you could do other things like drawing, and tell them stories.

  9. i would make a special "kit" to take with you anytime you babysit... it could contain crayons, markers, a couple different coloring books, crafts, child card games, puzzles, disney movies, etc... maybe even some candy (of course you should ask the parents before hand!) i had a babysitter that did this for me when i was growing up and i LOVED her! it was so fun to have new things to do when she came over.

i'm sure you'll do great! the good thing about babysitting at night is kids go to bed around 9 leaving you a few hours to relax... but don't forget to clean up any messes made! when i babysit i try to straighten the rooms we've played in & tidy up the kitchen before the parents get home. parent's love to come home to cleanliness :)
