  1. Matchbox Twenty's How Far We've Come

    The lyrics go:

I believe the world is coming to an end...

anyways its appropriate for what you are doing.

  2. The Twilight Zone theme song. The dirge. It's the End of the World as we know it (But I feel fine).

  3. The Sting

  4. It's a mistake.  By Men at Work.

  5. The Climate's Changing by Ryan Harvey (a member of the Riot Folk! Collective www.riotfolk.org you can download all their music for free on their site or archive.org)

Here is the album which the song comes from

    http://www.archive.org/details/ryanharve...

I might also suggest Operation M.O.V.E a song about the Move 9 (a radical black eco-action group back in the 70s led by John Africa) that was done by Leftöver Crack and it is mostly instrumental but there are some words!

Earth First by Darryl Cherney (a really awesome member of Earth First! an awesome group committed to direct action in defense of mother earth)

I would also suggest maybe the Trees by Rush

or if you want more instrumental, go with Godspeed You Black Emperor! They are pretty dramatic and epic with multi layered instrumental work.

    Hope this helps!

  6. Play the Yakety Sax song from the Benny Hill Show while showing pictures of Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi eating cheeseburgers and flying around in a C5-B Galaxy with their SUVs.  Then, you could cut to some stock footage of hurricane Katrina and then to some scenes involving massive termite damage. After that, you could show OJ in a white Bronco and then Senator Carole Migden wigged out on Jim Beam and driving her SUV into lots of stuff. The next scene would have to be stock footage of Isaac from the Love Boat being swept away by the 1964 Alaska tsunami.  The final scene could be Jack Nicholson as the ACLU lawyer in Easy Rider (1969) saying:

Here's the first of the day, fellas! To old D.H. Lawrence.

[He starts flapping one arm like a chicken]

Neh! Neh! Neh! Fuh! Fuh! Fuh! Ingninins.

  7. well this isnt sad but 4 minutes by Madonna it is very effective if you mention the fact that time is running out and we need to save the planet
