  1. I know you said you didn't want cakes but I've just bought some from www.fancie.co.uk and they were AMAZING!!!!

  2. make your own pizza's and get the kids to join in too

  3. Try strawberry's half dipped in milk chocolate and left to set. Bit like a chocolate fondue idea but not as messy!

  4. Fairy bread is always a must hahahah! Its so cute!!

Anyway you could put out fruits like Watermelon, strawberry's, bananas etc.. Try chicken nuggets, pizza slices (There are these frozen pizza slices you can get from your supermarket, they aren't the usual greasy pizza you order from takeaway, and you can just cut them up into small pieces), Frankfurt's, little pies and sausage rolls are always popular.

    Just a couple of suggestions.

  5. I remember at that age my mom made a bundt cake, went to the dollar store and got a cheap barbie. Put the barbie in the cake and use icing to create a "dress". I am 25 and I still remember that cake, lol. They also sell cake pans that make tea pot shaped cakes, and that would be fun, make two halves and use icing to stick them together for a 3d cake. Chocolate dipped strawberries are always a hit at tea parties, and you could go to a bakery and see if they can make a couple loaves of colored bread(pink, blue, yellow) and make the tiny sandwhiches with tuna, chicken and crab salad fillings. Do a search for tea party recipes. Also, we used to make chocolate chip scones and "ladyfingers" which was a choc. chip or strawberry cookie dough that forms into little "fingers", which can be dipped in chocolate. We used to cater out professional tea parties for older ladies and they loved it so much they traced my mom after she switched jobs and got her to keep making once a year. Also works great for baby showers and birthdays, lol.

    Good luck!

  6. Something like fresh chicken wraps would be nice and not to messy and fruit kebabs with a little sugar for sweetness.
