I need some bowling tips

i need help staying under the ball and hitting my mark...any suggestions?

  1. Try using those aluminum wrist supports when you practice.  They come in different types like the Eagle, Scorpion, Cobra 1,2,3, Brunswick XL Powerkoil series and Robby's Revs.  Storm also makes similar wristers too.  For training purposes and during league, I use the Brunswick XL Powerkoil wrist support because I've had problems with overturning my wrist and ending up with "spinners" instead of hooking the ball.  With the extra wrist support, I stay behind and below the ball and can adjust it to help me with extra lift, turn and also added or less torque to help add to the bowling ball's performance.  Check bowling.com, bowlersparadise.com, bowlingball.com or bowlingballsales.com for more info.  Good luck!  


  2. I had a tendency to let my wrist twist as I delivered the ball which would give it a backspin. A suggestion I found that helped keep it straight was to end the deliver with the hand out like you were about to shake hands. Thinking about that as a finish point helped my delivery overall.
