I need some chart-stalkers to take a look at my chart, please.

FF gave me a green light on the 29th, 30th, and 31st (CDs 17-19).

CD 17- Watery CM, tender b*****s

CD 18- Creamy CM, decreased appetite

CD 19- HUGE temperature rise, gassy, ovulation pain (I think, not for sure. If so, this is the FIRST time I have ever had it.)

I am just wanting some opinions. I am afraid the 'watery' CM I found on CD 17 may have just been leftover s***n from the night before. Also, why was I just feeling ovulation pain yesterday, or was that something else? It wasn't even a pain. It was like a weird twinge, hardly uncomfortable.

Also, this may be noteworthy: My s*x drive has all but disappeared the last few days. X.x It's supposed to INCREASE during ovulation. I am usually a s*x kitten, but not the last few days.

So here's my question, finally: When do you think I ovulated? DO you think I ovulated? And why?

Thanks.

  1. I think you ovulated CD17, usually your temp dips a little  the day OF ovuation then rises after you already Oed.

  2. your temp on the 26th is unusually high...if you discard it does it give you an ovulation???  don't worry about whether the watery CM was s***n or not...if u suspect it BD anyway!

My normally low s*x drive shoots up during the week before I O...and drops off shortly afterward...

I see you are taking lots of things...be careful with self medicating...all of those things could be affecting your cycle andmaking it more confusing...and most of them aren't really that helpful...

Here's hoping we both get our first BFP this cycle!

  3. I am thinking MAYBE CD18 was the day but you need more temps to confirm it.

  4. I agree that CD18 could be the day. Hard to know because your BBT timing seems to vary on CD18 and 19 (that's why the dots are white and not blue on those days, because the time you took your temps didn't match up with previous data). But you most certainly ovulated, that's for sure! Nice chart :)

OK, so the CM you described, which is watery, it totally fine and fertile. It's not quite as good as EWCM but perfectly adequate pH for the sperm and all that good stuff. Many women feel ovulation before it happens; others do afterwards. You've probably always felt little twinges, but you never took any notice of them before and now you do because you're TTC.

s*x drive always goes up when the estrogen increases, as it does right before ovulation. That estrogen increase is also what makes fertile CM. After ovulation, part of the egg follicle which gets discarded (the 'corpus luteum') starts pumping out large amounts of progesterone. That's what makes your temps go up, and by the look of it, you're making lots of it which is great. You need progesterone to get and stay preggers.

Unfortunately, progesterone is also what gives women PMS. You personally might not feeling grouchy before your period, but progesterone can certainly have an impact on your s*x drive. Sounds like you're ovulation pattern and hormone levels are like a text-book example. Good for you!!!
