  1. Pl check these remedies for cold.

  2. there is a list on this page ...what you are looking for is there.get at any health food store or drug store or grocery store that sells homeopathics.heres to well being

    peaceful-organic-planet dot com/homeopathy.html

  3. go to Whole Foods or Vitamin Cottage (if you have them in your town), or call a local acupuncturist & ask if they sell herbs.

Buy 2 formulas: Yin Qiao Wan & Gan Mao Ling.  Take the recommended dosage of both formulas (on the bottle) every 3 hours.  You should feel much better in about 12 hours.  Depending on how long you've had the cold, it could take 24-48 hours to be gone completely.

Great formulas to keep in your medicine chest.

    Look for a local acupuncturist/herbalist at www.acufinder.com

  4. Cold and flu tablets work really well as they clear up the ache for a short amount of time. Make sure you don't have too many though because they make your head go a bit funny.

If it's really bad, you could always see your doctor to get a certificate and get an extension on your report. There's no use if your sickness is going to affect your ability to do it well.

  5. Drink hot tea with lemon for the sore throat and try gargling warm water with salt for the phlegm. As for the aches and chills, take a Tylenol, especially if your temperature is above normal. A better alternative is to take cold medicines (such as Robitussin) specifically for the flu since the symptoms are pretty similar. Don't take Tylenol with the cold medicine if it has Tylenol (acetaminophen) in it already so make sure you read the labels before taking.  Lots of water/fluids and rest. I am not a doctor so be sure to check with your doctor/pharmacist first.

  6. Awww mate, that's so yukky for you .....  ima sorry you're not feeling the best mate.

You might think that i'm daft but a sure fire way to nip a cough or a cold in the bud ........ is to slice a lime or lemon into quarters, squeeze the juice into a cup of warm water and add organic honey to taste (honey has antiobiotic properties) and sip on that................. then, suck on another 1/4 of a lime or lemon rinsing your mouth out thoroughly afterwards to protect your teeth from the acid.

The vitamin C content of limes and lemons is so potent that it does a fine job of eliminating a cough and cold symptoms by bolstering your immune system and putting a bit of a pep back in your step too.

Just gotta be brave mate and suk on those limes.

Eat more foods rich in vitamin C ~ in particular, limes and lemons, also oranges, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, leafy and green vegies, red and green peppers.

vitamin C will bolster your immunity and help to torch those nasty cold and flu germs........... vitamin C also does a good job of lowering high blood pressure and acts as a natural laxative.

Loads of freshly squeezed juices are good too.

Pump up your fresh filtered water intake as the happiest and healthiest body will always be the most hydrated one......  sheez, we need at least 2 litres of water daily just to maintain aspiration (to breathe) so drink up mate, it will help to flush out those germies too.

Avoid sugar as bacteria will only multiply and feed on sugar. Also avoid B complex thieves such as caffeine, tea, sodas and soft drinks, alcohol .............. all these things will also do a great job of dehydrating you.

Paradoxically otc cold and flu meds and aspirin will also do a fine job of robbing you of your B complex of vitamins as well as your precious supplies of Vitamin C.

Take a B complex supplement as the B complex of vitamins are essential for healthy neural digestive and immune system functioning and will assist your body in dealing with stress of being ill ................ take one even after you recover.

Ensure you are drinking or eating something with Beta - carotene in it daily to heal quicker and in future to prevent further colds, as Vitamin A will aid in the proper function of the immune system, shorten the duration of illnesses and generally bolster the health of the mucosal lining of your ear nose and throat ie: carrott juice, pumpkin soups, eggs.

Eucalyptus oil has long been respected for its ability to lower temperatures and help the respiratory tract by loosening and removing mucus during attacks of bronchitis, coughs, flu, sinusitis and throat infections. Its antiviral and antibacterial action will deter further growth of the bacteria or virus.

Put a capfull of eucalyptus oil into a hot bath and soak in that for 15 - 20 minutes luxuriously inhaling the steamy wonderfull vapours.......... this will help enormously in loosening congestion and mucus from your chest and respiratory tract.

Put a few drops of eucalyptus oil also onto a hanky and lie it next to your pillow at night to help ease breathing.

Fill a salad bowl with hot water and put 1/2 a capfull of eucalyptus oil into it ~ make a tent with a towel over your head and lean over the bowl and inhale the steamy eucalypt vapours ........... being carefull not to get so close that you burn your face.

Caution ~ Do not use eucalyptus oil if you suffer from epilepsy or high blood pressure ....... if either is the case simply substitute with tea tree oil which is also a brilliant antiviral and antibacterial. Also do not use eucalyptus oil for pregnant or breastfeeding women or on infants or young children under 5 years of age. Under no circumstances should you ever ingest eucalyptus oil .

Oh, ditch the milk and dairy for a while too as they will only encourage the production of more mucous ............ eat more fresh fish (rich in calcium & vitamin D), organic almonds & brazil nuts (rich in calcium) and leafy and green vegies (rich in calcium & protein) instead to pump up your intake of calcium & vitamin D.

Rug up and stay warm too ........ i hope this helps you buddy & get well soon.

be brave and eat the limes buddy ~ amazing stuff.

    cheers
