Currently there is a maple and black desk, silver accents, black wall shelving and black bookshelves. I painted the wall almost the same color as the desk which doesn't really look right. It all blends in. It is a burnt orange color which I would like to tone it down several notches, make the office serene for long hours and appear bigger with the natural light coming in. (By the way the walls are textured)

  2. If you are looking to be taken seriously and want a professional appearance, stick with neutral colors like beige, tan, or egg-shell white. You are making no statements with those colors, and it goes with everything!

  4. Maybe a honey color would be nice and cheerful on that wall.

  5. A shade of green might be nice.  A relaxing but professional color.

  6. well you seem like you have  a lot of black and chrome accents...i have that in my bedroom and so i painted my walls a light blue..but more light turquoise mixed with light blue and its really pretty and looks really good with the black...that way your room is bright...and its an office so it should be a a light color...also makes the room look bigger..so i would go with a light blue/turquoise..its very pretty with the black!

  7. try peach, tan, or a dark blue!
