I need some community service work?

I live near the brewster area and would like to have some community service for njrotc im only 15 i will take anything except for at hospitals i cant do that i need about 100 hours and if i can get some this summer i would love it

animal shelters alway need people to pet the kittens..this is essential if they are to be adopted.  Libraries need pages to carry things and re-shelf magazines.  Best to contact the institution directly and in person if you can.  With school starting soon some teacher might need help with decorating bulletin boards. carrying books etc.  lots of place would love to have your services!

you might try to contact the city office and tell them you are looking for community service opportunities. They might have you plant flowers in the park, or pick up trash.

The whole point of community service is to do a service to your community to make it look or function more smoothly/efficiently. If you are looking for a pleasant experience then you might not find it in community service.

Other ideas might be volunteering at the local animal shelter, doing odd jobs for elderly people, or even helping a family member clean out their garage or something.

The rotc program is wonderful and I hope it encourages you to help your community and become a productive citizen.

Have you tried the local fire department? In particular  a volunteer fire department.

Are you referring to Brewster, NY?
