Can anybody give me some cool snowboard tricks that are quite easy to perform.

I can do up to falling leaf and can transfer from heelslide and toeslide to frontways and back to heelslide etc.

I can also jump a bit.

Am i ready for grinds and stuff.

Cool tricks please :)

  1. A cool trick to learn would be a 270 on to a fs boardslide  then 270 off to be able to learn this trick just try boardslides on regular boxes and then once you've got that try doing a 180 off and then 180 on and off and then try to get the 270 off and then once again take the 270 on

This will probably take a long time to accomplish but once you've nailed it it's really fun and looks great.

  2. I don't think you're ready.  Until you're riding blue runs without falling/losing control I don't think you should be in the park.

Keep working on the basics - carving, turning and stopping.  If I were you I wouldn't even go in the park this season, just work on my skillz and maybe learn how to ollie a bit - not just jump - and butters and maybe some little spins/grabs off bumps on the runs.

You don't want to cut your season early by pushing yourself!  Be safe, smart and have fun!

  3. How well can you ride?  Can you traverse blues without falling or without too much falling?

I generally advise people to stay away from park until they're at least pretty good with blues.  You'll need to be pretty decent to catch yourself coming off boxes, rails, and jumps.

For starting try 5050's ride straight over the widest, flattest box you can find.  Preferably one without a gap between the lip and the actual box.  Hit it slow and don't jump onto it.  The length of your board should be enough to bridge you over the gap if there is one.  Now once you're on it, stay flat and straight.  Don't wiggle around too much, and don't freak out.  Once you get towards the end, just drop off.  Don't try hitting anything meant for advanced riders.  They tend to have a gap, longer, and higher.  Get your basics down on small boxes before hitting the big ones.  You could try small rainbows too.  Same concept of hitting it slow.  For a beginner, you'll want to hit rainbows slow.  Some are angled enough to toss you over it at the top.

Straight airs on jumps.  Slow and flat in the air.  Stay centered and don't lean in any direction.  Land it flat and ride away.  Get only a little air at first.  Then get a little more speed.  Don't think about how noobish you look getting only an inch or two of air.  Before you can progress, you have to accept that you are a noob, and then push yourself.  Get used to being in the for short amounts of time, then go bigger and bigger.  Something that may help you is, when you're just cruising around, find some dips in the trail and jump off of the lip coming out of the dip.  They're like mini jumps.

If you fall trying anything, get out of the way fast.  You pose a danger to yourself, and others, and p**s people off.

    If you fall, keep trying!
