I just bought a 2001 BMW 325i a few days ago but the cd player is not working. It will play the first minute or so of the first track then begin to skip and not play any more tracks. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I probably going to have to buy a new cd player or can this be fixed? Thanks.

  1. YOU CAN GET THE FACTORY RADIO FIXED BUT IT'LL PROBABLY WILL COST YOU ABOUT $60 ON UP FOR A FEW BUCKS MORE YOU CAN BUY YOURSELF A NEW AFTERMARKET RADIO. DEPENDING ON WHAT BRAND AND MODEL YOU PURCHASE, YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO CONNECT YOUR MP3 player to it like your iPod and can also control it directly from the headunit. If you like you can can go online in ebay and look for a new radio for a low price. Also if care to you can check out my friends ebay store (AUTOSOUNDS4LESS PUBLIC WAREHOUSE) there you can find a variety of car radio for less.

  2. You can try cleaning it,but more than likely you will have to buy a new radio.
