Soccer is the most popular sport. The most famous team depends on where you live. Could be Nacional or Millionarios ...I am not a huge sports person though..

Food: Sancocho is a popular soup. Arepa which is a cormeal pattie like  a pancake sometimes like a ball though.

Patacones which are twice fried plantains.  Yuca or cassava is popular. Rice and red beans. Chicharron which is pork rinds. Chorizo which are sausages. Some desserts are Natilla which is like a custard.  Brevas con queso figs and cheese...

Soccer is by far the most popular sport there. They eat rice, beans, fried plantains, arepas, avocados, chicharon, empanadas, and they have this exotic fruit called lulu. My stepmom is from there, so I know quite a bit. Why don't you research it??
